He worked for the insurance company.
A fifth-generation Texan, born and raised in San Marcos, who learned how claims are valued from inside the company that pays them.

The other side's playbook
While he was in law school, David worked as an insurance adjuster for a large insurance company, and as a private investigator. That is not a line of colour on a biography page — it is the single most useful thing about him.
He knows how a claim is reserved, what an adjuster is instructed to document, which injuries get quietly discounted, and what a file has to look like before an insurer treats it as a trial risk rather than a nuisance.
An insurance adjuster for a large insurance company, as well as a private investigator.
One attorney. Start to finish
David is the sole founding member of the firm. Our case managers keep things moving, while David stays directly involved in the strategy and resolution of your case.

The work itself
Files are read, annotated and built by the attorney whose name is on the door — not summarised for him by someone else.

Written on, not just practised
David has authored and presented State Bar of Texas continuing legal education material — on auto collision litigation and on wrongful death. It is an area he has taught to other lawyers.

Established 2011
The firm has been practising under this mark since 2011 — the year is on the wall of the office, not just on the website.

We go and get the evidence
Onboard data, logbooks, surveillance, incident reports. Most of it has a retention window, which is why the first week matters.

We make them value it properly
David worked as an adjuster. The file gets built so the other side has to treat it as a trial risk, not a nuisance.
