Truck & 18-wheeler
A commercial carrier has an investigator on the scene within hours. The evidence that decides your case starts disappearing the same day.
Why these cases are different
A collision with an 18-wheeler is not a bigger car wreck. Commercial carriers are governed by federal safety regulations, they carry policies an order of magnitude larger than a private driver, and they have a rapid-response team whose job is to limit what the case is worth before you have spoken to anyone.
That means the work starts immediately: preserving the electronic control module, the driver's hours-of-service logs, maintenance records, and the dashcam footage that a carrier is under no obligation to keep once the retention window closes.

What the first week decides
Most of what proves a case has a retention window — onboard data, footage, incident reports. Once it closes, the argument becomes one word against another.
What we look for
Hours-of-service violations and falsified logbooks. Negligent hiring and retention. Improper loading or securement. Deferred maintenance on brakes and tyres. And the carrier's own safety record, which often shows the collision was not the first of its kind.
He knows how the other side values a claim, because that used to be his job.
The insurance side
David spent time as an adjuster for a large insurer before he practised law. He knows how a commercial claim is reserved, what the carrier's own investigators are told to document, and where the valuation gets quietly reduced.

Tell us what happened
A few sentences, a photo, a police report — whatever you have. It costs nothing and it is not a commitment.

We go and get the evidence
Onboard data, logbooks, surveillance, incident reports. Most of it has a retention window, which is why the first week matters.
- 03
We make them value it properly
David worked as an adjuster. The file gets built so the other side has to treat it as a trial risk, not a nuisance.
