Ann was born and raised in a small town in the heart of Texas, but she has been a resident of Houston for well over a decade. She started her career with The Salazar Law Firm in the beginning of 2009 and as such, she has enjoyed professional growth along with the firm. The firm functions as a very strong team and also as a small family. Ann finds that working with the same group of people all these years has been very rewarding and personally very fulfilling.
Ann is very passionate about her duties to help the firm’s clients. Her strengths include dealing with various types of subrogation claims, hospital liens and facilitating several types of lien reductions. In addition, Ann is fluent in Spanish and appreciates the opportunity to communicate with the firm’s clients who speak little to no English. She is happy to be able to speak with them in their native language so that they feel comfortable asking questions and gaining a solid understanding of their case.
With an insatiable thirst for knowledge, Ann obtained a certificate in Paralegal Studies from Blackstone School of Law in 1999 and later studied Business Administration and Management at Tarleton State University. More than ten years ago, Ann created her own local Judgment Enforcement business and has since become a subject matter expert in post-judgment recovery.
Ann has one daughter in her early twenties who is independently making her way in the world. When not busy helping others, Ann enjoys spending her spare time with friends, her two dogs and traveling whenever possible. Ann’s hobbies include cooking, reading, bicycling, many outdoor activities, and playing sports.
