Maria was born in Peru and moved to Houston in 2000 at the age of 9. Her introduction into the legal world began when she was hired as a receptionist at a local law firm.  She noticed that the field piqued her interest and she wanted to learn more.  Although she was worried she would not be able to achieve much more due to English being her second language, she quickly realized that her fluency in Spanish was a great asset and it allowed her to flourish with Houston’s large Spanish speaking community.

When Maria first started at The Salazar Law Firm, she was continuing her education within the legal field by getting her paralegal certification.  Now that she has completed her certification, she is excited to apply her knowledge within the firm.  Her main goal as a paralegal is to help individuals and their families get the best assistance possible by offering our clients comprehensive understanding of what to expect from being involved in a legal matter as well as facilitating their needs along the way.

On her free time, Maria enjoys spending time with her family and friends, listening to music, dancing, and reading.

Ann obtained a certificate in Paralegal Studies from Blackstone School of Law in 1999 and later studied Business Administration and Management at Tarleton State University.  More than ten years ago, Ann created her own local Judgment Enforcement business, and has since become a subject matter expert in post judgment recovery.
